Italian golfer Renato Paratore achieved his first European Tour title by winning the Nordea Masters on Sunday.
The 20-year-old duffer finishing one stroke higher below Endland's Chris Wood and last year's titleholder, Matthew Fitzpatrick in the match, which was held at the Barseback Golf & Country Club in Malmö, Sweden.
Paratore had some ground to make up after beginning the final day one stroke behind Wood.After having managed par over each of the final four holes, Paratore finished 11-under with a round of 70.
"I couldn't be happier right now.I really enjoyed this win," Paratore said. "I was one behind the leader so I thought if I played well I could win.In these tough conditions, I kept a good attitude until the end."
Tjorbjorn Olesen of Denmark and George Coetzee of South Africa each finished two strokes behind.
